The evening was entitled “Are you Afraid of the Dark…” Hell yes, I thought to myself!

So, I quickly signed up for the Jonny Draper Photography Winter Wedding Workshop, held at the wonderful Belle Epoque in Knutsford, Cheshire. Jonny partnered with premium wedding suppliers Love Bridal Boutique, Altrincham and The Flower Lounge, Didsbury, for this event.

We were in for a treat, with the perfect setting, gorgeous flowers and gown, and a lovely bride and groom (to be). The venue was, of course, very dark! That was the whole purpose of the evening! But with Jonny’s expertise and the best lighting kit ever, this set up was going to get us out of the Wookey Hole! A photography toy shop filled with Ice Lights, LED Panels, Speedlights, you name it! I was in heaven!

Jonny approached the evening with his usual good humour, inspirational photography and honest insight. That’s what I love about his workshops. You learn a lot, you get heaps of fun, and you’re left wanting more…
