Having had the pleasure of capturing Tunde and Krzysztof’s ‘civil’ wedding in Manchester, I was most excited to be following the lovely Mr and Mrs Sowinski to Cluj Napoca, Transylvania, with fellow photographer and partner – Versfeld Photography – to capture their official ‘religious’ ceremony.

The day started at City Plaza Hotel where Camelia David, Make-Up Artist, and Motilica Morianna, Hairstylist, worked their magic on the stunning bride. Beautiful bouquets arranged by Florissima perfectly finished the look.

In true Hungarian tradition we left the hotel and headed towards Tunde’s parents house, where the Bride and Groom were blessed by both sets of parents before heading towards the Reformed Church.

Chios Restaurant was in for a surprise and so were we – a beautiful venue set besides the lake with a bridal party that danced from 4:30pm until the early hours. DJ – Balint Csaba-Ferencz, got the jive going in the house… a task not for the faint hearted given the endurance level of this crowd!
